My Testimony
I often wish I could tell you that my story began with a dramatic conversion. It did not.
I grew up in a Christian home in India where I first heard the gospel as a young child. I was a fourth generation believer. Gospel came to India in the early 1900's through faithful Kingdom citizens. My great grand parents were the first to receive it, believe it enough to change the trajectory of our family. Faith cannot be inherited, faith has to be found.
At the age of seven, during Vacation Bible School, I found faith as I heard about Christ. I immediately trusted Him as my Savior. It is then when I began to believe. Years later, as a teenager, I gained assurance of my salvation and began to understand that following Jesus was not simply about believing certain truths about Christ but about belonging completely to Him.
At that time, I had no idea where that simple act of faith would lead.
Over the years, God took me from India to the United States. He lead me through marriage, motherhood, ministry, seasons of joy, seasons of uncertainty, and countless opportunities to witness His faithfulness. Through every chapter, He has been writing a story far greater than my own. Through many life changing moments He took me deeper in my faith and understanding of who He is and who I am in Him.
One truth has continued to shape my life more than any other: we become what we behold.
The more I behold Christ in His Word, the more He transforms my heart, my priorities, my desires, and my perspective. The Living Word began to become my very best friend, my wonderful counselor and the scriptures began to become fulfilled in my own life. The Christian life is not merely about trying harder. It is about seeing the Living Word, Christ himself more clearly.
As a wife, mother, teacher, Bible Study Fellowship leader, speaker, and author, my greatest desire is not simply to share information but to help others behold the glory of God revealed in Scripture.
This website was born out of that desire.
My prayer is that every reflection, devotion, article, and resource found here would help you lift your eyes to Christ, see Him more clearly, and reflect Him more faithfully.
Because in the end, our lives were never meant to point to ourselves.
We were created to reflect His glory.
